Romy Schneider chez Chanel, photo Hatami, 1965
Sharon Tate and Peggy Moffit modelling a checkboard caftan with colored dots, ca. late 1960′s.
The caftan was designed by Rudi Gernreich; a similar shot of Peggy wearing the caftan is printed in The Rudi Genreich Book. The caftan is described as a black-and-white silk “checkerboard” with yellow dots. Sharon’s is a purple checkerboard with red dots. The shot of Sharon was taken by Hatami, while the shot of Peggy was taken by William Claxton.
