It’s Monday night and you know what that means? I’m watching The Bachelorette with my mom. I’m definitely a true fan of the show because I watch it so much. I guess you could say I was raised that way because my mom has been watching the show way before I came along. Naturally, I started watching it when hanging out with my mom and you know what - I love it!
I think it’s clear that I’m a momma’s boy. Don’t get me wrong...I love my dad soo soooooo much. But I have a special bond with my mom because she spoils me a little bit. I mean, just because I get in a little trouble from time to time (or maybe a lot) doesn’t mean I’m a bad cat, right? My mom seems to overlook just about all of my antics. Like when I steal her whole pillow at night and she has to sleep on the edge of the bed. Or when I jump into her closet and lay all over her nicely folded clothes. Hey, I like adventures!
Regardless, I know my mom will always love me for who I am. That’s why I want other cats out there to find what I have.

It’s yet another Sunday in our household and that means one thing: grocery shopping. All I want is to be able to go along with my parents and explore, but they said I have to stay home. They are always gone so long and I get lonely here with just my sister (she doesn’t really like to hang out with me much). I guess I’m just a really curious cat (my mom always says that I can’t stay out of everyone’s business) and show it by getting into trouble.
When my parents come home from Sunday grocery shopping, the kitchen is filled with grocery bags. To me, bags are THE COOLEST. I don’t know what it is, but sometimes I think that these grocery bags are better than the many cat toys, trees and scratching posts that my mom and dad have bought me. My parents aren’t too thrilled that I spend more time with boxes and bags and strings over toys that they have bought for me, but I can’t help it! I find that making your own adventure is just that much more fun. Plus, it feels like it’s my birthday every time my parents go shopping because I get all of these bags to play with. My favorite thing to do is run and slide across the floor in them. So good.

I’m feeling particularly glam today. I know I say that a lot, but today is different! I’ve been hanging with my mom helping her choose the PERFECT outfit for tonight. She’s going to see T-Swift and has to have the perfect look to celebrate the fun! I like to think that I’m helping out by hanging out in front of the mirror while she tries on dresses. Hey - my opinion matters!
My mom has tried to get me in clothes before and it hasn’t gone too well. I don’t know how other cats do it! I think the idea of me all dressed up is great but maybe it’s just something for those professional kitties on Instagram. She bought me a really cute fox sweater last year and put me in it. The moment my paws touched the floor, I fell over immediately. I don’t know how to balance when my limbs are restricted so much. I think I’ll leave the dressing-up to my mom.
Speaking of fashionable, this feline could give me a run for my money!

“So. Tired.”
Hi (furry) friends!
Happy 4th of July weekend...or what I like to call, “crazy loud boom weekend.” Why is it that my mom and dad like to leave me home alone when neighborhood hooligans are constantly making all this noise? I’m totally exhausted because I spent just about the whole weekend awake - gotta defend the fort here - and lost precious cat nap hours that could have been spent dreaming of wonderful things like night-night treats or din din. Both of which are delicious.
Since I was basically up all weekend, I need to catch up on my beauty rest and find a nice, quiet place to pass out where my dad’s video games and my sister’s loud squeaking won’t wake me for a good ten hours. Maybe then I can tolerate my mom taking millions of photos of me throughout the day. There’s only one way to know. I’m officially declaring the week after 4th of July “snoozefest 2015.”
Even though I’m exhausted, I thought it was necessary to keep up my mission of spotlighting the latest adoptable cats for you all.

She’s the classiest cat who has had a very scrappy past. Like me, Veronica was left to fend for herself in the great outdoors. She didn’t do so well on the streets because she missed the companionship of people. She’s optimistically awaiting a new life with a loving family.

Do you ever feel like you just want to pass out on the floor from exhaustion, even though it’s not even your bedtime? I get A LOT of playing in during the day, whether it’s jumping from cat tree to cat tree or chasing my tail. I think that sometimes I even wear my mom out from chasing her around our apartment.
My latest obsession is my Yeowww! Catnip Banana. I never knew what bananas tasted like until my mom bought me it, but now I know they’re definitely my favorite. Who would have thought that something that didn’t taste like fish or meat could be so tasty? That’s why I love my mom - she always pushes me to try new things and surprises me all the time.
Feeling so loved by my parents makes me want the same for other cats out there who are going through what I went through when I was without a loving home. So here’s another special cat that deserves a great family:

Not only is this cat stunning, but she definitely could teach me a thing or two about being ‘zen.’ Although I’m a little crazy around my parents, I can get a little timid when it comes to strangers. Channeling my inner ‘zen’ could really help.
