The courtyard of the Ox-King’s castle, rebuilt and restored in the ruins of the original, destroyed some years hence by a well-meaning bumble of Muten Roshi. It was here that the guards of his burly majesty were currently training to better themselves, so that if some villainous sort should ever darken their doorstep again, they might be better prepared.

For their trainer, however, it was more of a light spar.

A red-orange and blue blur whipped across the grounds, upending and sending the struggling trainees flying with strikes of single, decisive precision. Coming to a halt in the center of the grounds, Goku raised a single hand.

“Alright, alright, that’s gonna hafta do it...” Goku spoke with a small chuckle, waving them off. “You guys need way more speed before you try ta’ come at me again! Try doin’ some independent exercises the next couple a’ days!”

It’d been some time since the second defeat of Piccolo, and as he’d eld his word, Goku had returned to the home of the Ox family with Chi-Chi, his apparent fiancee.

...However, upon time spent together, genuine mutual appreciation outgrowing a childhood “Prince Charming” fantasy, the arrangement...well, shifted a little. To something more...well, fair.

Goku caught a small hand towel tossed to him by a castle servant, giving them a smile.

“Hey, thanks!”

Wiping off the small beads of sweat upon his brow, Goku headed down the long, elegant halls of the regal abode. Man, it was real great of Chi-Chi and the Ox-King to let him live here! Still, this place was so big... It was easy to get lost in, sometimes!

(( Hehe Aliens. The marines are just great and I always loved this movie, I kinda remember especially when I was younger that this movie wasn’t all laser rifles and shit and seemed more... not realistic but not crazy to see the future being like this I don’t know.
