Chick Donovan v. Tommy Rogers
The "Golden Man" Chick Donovan wears golden trunks as bright as his mane as he dominates John Mantell in a series of headlocks. I can attest that Chick Donovan was a gay young wrestling fan's total wet dream with his swole physique (always well-tanned and proudly on display) and his flowing blond locks. In fact, don't even tell me you're an 80's pro wrestling jag-off if you didn't have any Chick Donovan in your collection!
As the grappling intensifies, you may notice Donovan's golden trunks riding up, causing a very noticeable wedgie, yet he stubbornly refuses to unwedge them! Oh you big hunky dick-tease!
I get the sense that, if he were still wrestling today, Donovan would happily film Underground videos for our viewing pleasure -- and would sell and suffer like the sluttiest of jobbers.

Chick Donovan v. Brad Armstrong
In this classic match, young Chick Donovan has the audacity to Drop-Kick the great Austin Idol during his pre-match posing routine. Idol teaches the Beta Male his place by kicking his ass, then trapping him in the Las Vegas Leglock. The man surrenders, the bell sounds, but Idol refuses to release the killer hold (which got me every time.)
Stick around for the post-match interview where Idol threatens to break the leg of fan-favorite Tommy Rich -- which he just demonstrated he could easily do. This was the mind-fuck of classic wrestling, when it all seemed so real and dangerous. When the bad men were so aggressive and threatening -- out to cripple our cute young Babyfaces.

Ric Flair shows us some skilled chain wrestling to finish off beefy Chick Donovan. This mid-1980s NWA action was so much sexier and more exciting than the clownish WWF matches at the time!
Damn, I need someone to Scissor my neck just like that!
Chick Donovan was a tough-looking dude with his big muscles, so the more-famous studs like Flair came off looking especially powerful when they defeated him. Both guys in this match have some pretty long hair too, which turns me on!
Saturday Scissor Series
Today's montage of Headscissors comes from a single episode of World Class Championship Wrasslin which first aired 40 years ago on March 10, 1984 and was recently posted to YouTube.
It was a great episode for Headscissors -- the sort of show where you had to keep hitting Record on the old VCR as stud after stud made his way to the ring and got down to Scissoring.
First, we see Mike Bond getting kinky as he yanks up Chick Donovan's trunks to expose his muscularity. Do you think for one second that Donovan is going to fix that wayward spandex and readjust the fit?? Hell no, he is proud of all those squats he's been doing in the gym.
In the next match, Chris Adams puts his bulging whitey-tighties on display in a couple of nice Headscissors. I had a crush on the "Gentleman" throughout his career, so seeing him squirming around to escape those tight Scissors brought back some very fond memories.
Finally, we get a Scissor lesson by the big man, Butch Reed (who is described by a rather enamored Mark Lowrance as "chiseled ebony".) Butch adds some colorful trash talk to his crushing Headscissor, threatening to "squeeze his brains out!"
All those great Scissor moments on one program -- it feels like finally winning at Keno! I wonder if the promoters paid the boys a bonus per Headscissor or something (knowing how much the viewers would get off on it), because there sure were some eye-catching Scissor scenes throughout the broadcast.
