I love "Nothing bad ever hapened" AUs And I usually don't min d Highschool AUs either because I don't have to think of adult troubles. So one that I something think of is an AU where Ava is the student council vice president and an absolute picture book honors student that suddenly has to deal with this new student that kicks him off the leaderboards in everything, while being a really difficult person. I love enemies to lovers and I love delinquent + honor student stories, so of course this is a given with these two. Two more ups: Nothing bad ever happened to the twins and Asuna is alive!

Squad 4 in Namimori aka Reborn! Now! AU
While this is also an AU featuring Rena, it's mostly about Squad 4 becoming recurring characters in Namimori. All of them take on covers: Ava as a girl in Tsunas class, Lorenzo as a highschool student, Ser as the Coach for the BAsketball club and Leo as a guard and school security. It's just fun to imagine Ava trying to come up with schemes to murder Yamamoto, Ryohei trying to get Leo to coach the Boxing club, Lorenzo having to deal with a really annoying rich girl that tries to court him and Ser has to deal with conflicting feelings regarding his cover story and a girl in the girls basketball club called "Asuna".

HayaRena Ai no Scenario (I didn't wanna draw something for this)
Inspired by this song I always wanted to write an AU for Hayato and Rena and -drumroll please- G and a woman he meets after Giotto flees italy. Side A is Hayato and Rena being friends and in love ever since they were little, but Hayato is nothing but a street child while Rena is a noble woman engaged to a horrible abusive man. Eventually Hayatp whisks her away. Side B is set after Giotto left italy and asked G to take care of what they build up. G returns to his hometown where he meets a married woman who is secretly being deceived and cheated on by a mafiosi. She has no idea of this. Not exactly happy that another family has set their camp in THEIR (G and Giottos) hometown he eventually frees her from a terrible fate that her "husband" had planned for her and basically "wins" back the town, starting to seriously court her and eventually starting a family together.

LorAva Mermaid AU
Since I had planned to do more for this in MerMAY I will keep it short. Ava is merfolk, a blue shark aligned predator who gets captured by accident by a fishing boat. A boat Lor is on. Seeing as the creature was only an accident he releases Ava again albeit not unharmed. Still Ava somehow understands that Lore saved him and becomes interested, following the boat more often, everytime he gets captured, he gets released by Lor. OIne day though Lor is not on the boat and Ava gets caught again and sold to the nearby circus where he is set up for show. Due Lorenzo trying to save and release him back into the ocean.

Not much to say here. I did trace this official art though because I thought it would be cute! Asuna survives the shot. Ser never becomes a mafiosi, Leo neither. Ser goes on to go pro as a basketball player, Leo becomes a mute soccer player and everything is fine with nothing bad ever happening. This really is just "Ser and Asuna can be together".

Lin AU
The only K Project entry featuring a genderbend version of Lina that became full yandere for Eric. Eric has to tread very carefully. Lin is still his family and dear to him and made sure that Eric would survive anything Hikawa throws at him. He loves Lin, but he also knows how fragile Lins mental state is and how ready for violence he is when it comes to Eric.
Are the girls a manufactured girl band, unlike HOMRA, and if they are, what made them chase after being in a girl band? What inspired them to audition? And how do they feel about the idol culture and how heavily do they lean into the innocent girl routine expected of idols? Are there any of the girls who just refuse to pretend to be innocent and cute and inexperienced and have fans because of that?
Unlike the boys, theyre a manufactured girl group who met as trainees.
But because they spent so many years together getting ready for their debut, especially with the highly competitive nature of their company and losing many other trainees who were supposed to join them, they end up getting close.
Izumi and Kaoru did not want to be idols at the first place, knowing that they had to give up their individuality and hide their true personality. Izumi originally wanted to form a rock band, while kaoru wanted to join the Japanese hip-hop scene, but neither was able to accomplish their original goal
Sakuno always wanted to be a pop idol, but was always discouraged at first due to being shy as a kid. After taking multiple vocal lessons and getting confidence boost from her friends, she finally gets the courage to attend an audition. Miyako comes from a rich family who has connections within the music industry. She was slated to take over the family business, but wanted to explore a different field.
Miyako and izumi are the eldest two, while kaoru and sakuno are the youngest two, which explains why theyre the closest duos.
In the miyako/izumi duo, miyako is the more lively and friendly one, while izumi is the more chill and serious one. When they first met, miyako thought izumi was really cool while izumi thought miyako was annoying and didnt know anything.
The kaoru/sakuno duo are the bickering duo, somewhat similar to bandou/shouhei, but the difference is sakuno gets a little more triggered by kaoru, similar to how bandou gets triggered by shouhei. But the difference is that kaoru purposely picks on sakuno, while shouhei just breathes and bandou is like “shut the fuck up.” But similar to bandou, kaoru does get jealous at times on how popular sakuno is, which is why she bullies her at times.
Izumi and Sakuno are the most popular of the group since izumi is like the cool bad girl, while sakuno maintains the good girl gone bad image.
Since theyre a Japanese gg, all the members, even if theyre the more outspoken or tomboyish ones, pretend to the public that theyre innocent girls with no experience (cause yk, Asian idol culture). But in reality, all the girls have their share of experience and flaws.
I think out of all the girls, izumi makes it the most obvious on how she doesn’t fit the idol expectations. from her darker makeup, skimpier clothings, and blurry leaked pics of her smoking cigarettes which her fans will deny and “debunk.” While Kaoru is more of a tomboy and is quick to anger, she’s still able to maintain the idol image a lot better than izumi
Can I have more info on Lina's likes, dislikes, hobbies? The things that make her life feel happiest? Even though poor girl has been through it, I love thinking about happy Lina.
Linas likes, once she is free from Hikawa are pretty standart girlish. She likes sweets, frilly things and a lot of colours. She had never the luxury of having a normal life, so everything that seems fun is right up her alley. Amusement parks especially. Of course, it's always all the more fun when she can share these memories with Eric, because she will never forget them.
Dislikes are something she develops a bit slower. Before she was free her bullshit acceptance level was a lot higher just out of necesity. Now she actually allows herself to be annoyed or bothered by things she would've naturally just accepted or ignored before. Bad smells, crawlies, sounds that bother her- now that she has the luxury of actually being able to be alive, she can be selective of what she allows to be immortalized in her memories. After all those stay with her forever.
When it comes to hobbies she figures out that she really enjoys singing and dancing. There was barely any chance for this when she was in Hikawa, unless she made a moment of peace for her and Eric, where her first priority was to cheer him up and make sure that he enjoyed himself. Now that she can do it just for fun she ends up dancing and singing a lot more. You will find her humming or skipping just for fun. Another thing she found out she really enjoys is riding a bycicle. She didn't think she'd be into it but once she learnd that and how to swim she finds that she is quite fond of the world outside. Before this she always saw only the bad, the grey, the black, the blood, the scars, the tears and misery. Now it's like she got out of a cave and saw the real sun for the first time. Not just a small shimmer of light through a hole in the roof. The real sky and the real sun.
Okay, second question for the Band AU! I don't know if idols work the same way as mainstream music, where there's a lot of crossover between singers and television/movies, but how would the guys and your lovely girls deal with being scouted for the big screen? Who would want to give acting a try, who wouldn't? And what would the couples do if they found themselves cast as each other's onscreen lover (Because ofc that adds fuel to the fire for gossip).
I know that there’s a lot of kpop idols who go into acting, but not too sure about jpop idols. And im not 100% sure about this, but I remember reading that theres this stigma amongst actors about idols going into acting; that they hate when idols pursue acting cause the idols booked the role due to their popularity and not cause of any acting talent lol

Out of the girls, Miyako is the only one to pursue acting. Despite not being the most popular member, she is still well known for her beauty, which fits the quintessential Japanese beauty standards: petite frame, pale skin, long dark hair, long eyelashes, and high-bridged nose. It wasn’t that hard for her to land the lead role in a romcom, starring against a male pop idol who also recently joined the acting scene (okay idk why but akiyama came straight to my mind lol). The casting alone for this movie makes a lot of noise, as the main leads look extremely elegant and gives off major royalty vibes, which gains the attention of the general public. A lot of interviews and press tours get more people to fall in love with the chemistry between miyako and akiyama (which takes more effort from miyako’s end since akiyama can be pretty stiff). But unlike her idol career, she has more difficulty fitting in at first due to the stigma some of her costars have against her for being an idol.
Idk why, but i don’t really see any of the guys pursuing acting tbh. At most, i can see chitose landing some role in some adult comedy that doesn’t perform that well, which has him running back to the group and not want anything to do with acting ever again. The other guys probably got second hand embarrassment and don’t want to go through what chitose had to. When they first heard about miyako landing a role in a new movie, they couldn’t help but feel pity cause the poor girl might have to go through the same idol curse that chitose went through. but when they see the massive media coverage and support she’s getting, some of them can’t help but feel envious. here comes this girl group who’s catching up to their fame and popularity despite not being around for that long and definitely not working as hard as them, and now each members are getting their own individual gigs as solo acts?? while miyako may be the only one to pursue acting out of her group, she’s certainly not the only one who’s making a name for herself outside of the group. and the guys can’t help but feel jealous about that. as much as they love their group, at the end of the day, they’re different guys with different interests. it’d be nice to be known more outside of their fanbase, without having to be lumped in with 5 other guys. its funny how the girls, despite having a lot of restrictions put on to them by their company, still have the freedom to pursue things outside of the their group and make a name for themselves. whereas the guys have all the artistic freedom a musician can ask for, but seem to lack an identity of their own.
Dewa is annoyed. Its bad enough that he sees miyako’s face plastered all over japan with the rest of her dimwitted group. Now seeing her face being plastered all over the country with that guy with toothpick from s4? She likes that type of guy? The type with a stick up his ass? (talk about the pot calling the kettle black). But theres something off this time. With how strict her company is, he’s not used to seeing her having full blown conversations with other male celebrities, so imagine his surprise when he catches interviews where she keeps laughing at every little thing akiyama says, resting a manicured hand on his shoulder. or how she would bat her eyelashes at him while asking him a question, and how she would look intrigued as she hangs onto every word that comes out of his mouth. nothing about their interaction seems right to dewa, and in a way he’s relieved that is all an act to promote their new movie (at least thats what he tells himself and chitose when the latter tries to taunt him). But seeing miyako gain more success and fame as an actress, make more friends/connections within the industry, and create an identity for herself outside of her group is bothering dewa a lot more than it should be. in a way, it feels like she’s constantly rising and leaving him behind. and if acting doesn’t work out for her? no problem, she can always fall back onto her idol persona. and if performing is no longer fun? perfect, she can go back and take over her family’s business like she was supposed to. but what about him? if the group decides to split and go their own way, what will happen to dewa masaomi?
Okay, talk to me more about Sakuno teaching Shouhei tennis because the idea is both cute and hilarious to me because, though he’s naturally quite athletic, I don’t see him being great at it right away and there’s at least one slightly embarrassing mishap!

Growing up, Sakuno was raised in a upper middle class family. While far from rich like Miyako, she didn’t experience any financial problems, which explains how she was able to afford extra vocal lessons. This is a common theme in some of her arguments with Shouhei, since she grew up sheltered against hardships that was his reality. Sometimes it makes her come across as annoyingly naive, self centered, or ignorant. A good example is when she was upset that he didn’t want to introduce her to his parents right away. She thinks its because he’s not taking her seriously and jumps to conclusions about him cheating and breaking up with her when he’s bored, whereas the truth is that he doesn’t have the best relationship with his dad at the moment, and doesn’t want Sakuno to see the ugly side of his life thats hidden by a smile on his face and “sex, drugs, and rock & roll”
But growing up in a sheltered and safe environment doesn’t stop Sakuno from getting bored and mixing with the wrong people (like Shouhei, who grew up as a good natured boy who unfortunately fell into the wrong crowd)

Since both of her parents were in the workforce, she found herself staying more often with her grandma, who was pretty attentive and strict at first, but got careless as she grew older.

Its a slowburn 300k enemies to lovers fic with these two. Bandou makes it known that he would get with any of the other girls, but not Kaoru. If anything, I can see Bandou crushing on another member while he kept bickering with Kaoru, which adds some potential angst here! But like a lot of the pairs here, they both end up becoming friends before even thinking of any potential relationship. After all the countless arguments and insults, they both are a little awkward at first, averting eye contact, giving each other random compliments, and just being decent people. Once they get out of their awkward phase, they’re quick to bicker again, but this time its more friendly jokes. Before their relationship gets exposed, some fans notice small hints such as sakuno wearing an oversized jacket on a night out with her girlfriends that look a little too similar to the iconic jacket shouhei wore to an award show. or how they seem to have been at the same place, but different times, according to their instagram posts. some people even notice from their ig posts that they even seem to hang with the same group of people. But none of these were made to a big deal by anyone other than those who shipped them and would over analyze their every move. They wanted to remain private, but were forced to go public to remove some steam from Chitose and Izumi.
