VIETNAMESE SPRING ROLLS

Vietnamese Spring Rolls is theorized to have originated in Southern Vietnam, it is believed that the recipe was made by the people in Southern Vietnam to keep their body chilled due to the warm climate.
Spring rolls was first documented in China, dating back to Eastern Jin Dynasty which lasted from 256 AD to 420 AD.
In Vietnam, there’s a legend that goes “Goi Cuon” which translated as “Salad Roll” that better known as Spring Roll. It was believed that spring rolls was invented under the rule of Nguyen Hue Quang Trung during a famous battle. They were on the constantly needed, for “mobile” meals. They invented spring rolls dish as it could be eaten on the go, cold and the ingredients are easy to carry.
