Ingredients: 1 package of lumpia wrappers spring roll wrappers. 1/2 pound ground pork. 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined, finely chopped. 1 cup carrots, julienned. 1 cup green beans, thinly sliced. 1 cup cabbage, finely shredded. 1 small onion, finely chopped. 3 cloves garlic, minced. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil. 2 tablespoons soy sauce. Salt and pepper to taste. Lumpia dipping sauce store-bought or homemade.
Instructions: In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and chopped onions, saut until fragrant and translucent. Add ground pork and cook until it turns brown and crumbly. Stir in the chopped shrimp and cook until they turn pink. Add soy sauce, carrots, green beans, and cabbage to the skillet. Stir-fry until the vegetables are tender yet crisp. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat and let the filling cool completely. Take one lumpia wrapper and place it on a clean surface. Spoon about 2-3 tablespoons of the filling onto the wrapper's center. Fold the sides of the wrapper over the filling, then roll it tightly, ensuring the edges are sealed with a bit of water. Repeat the process with the remaining wrappers and filling. Heat oil in a deep pan for frying over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the lumpia rolls, a few at a time, and fry until they turn golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
