do I like them: yes!! I’m not quite as enamored with her as I am with a lot of the other characters and I’m not exactly sure why, but she’s great

5 good qualities: gay, loyal, doesn’t get caught up in shit like glory or revenge, badass, has a really cool jacket

3 bad qualities: not so much an issue with her as the writers but I feel like some of her characterization kind of gets gently pushed aside, like it’s such a big thing for her to realize that she can be something other than Jack’s shadow but then she spends a lot of the rest of the show basically being just that. also she’s a little quick to jump to murder, and she’s not great at dealing with consequences

favourite episode/etc: aesthetically definitely that one shot in the season three finale where she stands on the side of the ship. you know the one. otherwise probably the parts of season one where she’s actively trying to protect and then free Max, not (entirely) because of her attraction to her but because she thinks that what’s happening to her is wrong

otp: maxanne, also I’m putting rackhanne in both otp and brotp because I go back and forth on whether I see them as romantic or platonic or queerplatonic or whatever

Idk if you heard about the Japanese version of Sherlock Holmes where Watson and Sherlock are both women but I really like it. The Sherlock isn't explicitly autistic but can be easily read as such and the show isn't disrespectful about it imo. + She's a bit of a jerk sometimes but also a genuinely loveable and good person!

Is it Miss Sherlock? I watched the first few episodes when it was first coming out but I totally forgot to keep following it! It was pretty good from what I remember, I’ll have to dig up a place to watch it again when I get the chance. Sherlock Holmes But They’re All Women is genius.
