Shiki yawned. 

He didn't have any classes today in college and he didn't feel like going home to face his roommate today. Shiki wasn't used to being around people who seemed to be overly happy, act or sincere, but today seemed overly difficult for him. He had recently met a small blonde who had happened to be in his class and Shiki had to do everything he could to not strangle the smaller one. 

Sighing in exasperation, he took out one of his books to read before sitting down under a tree (away from the sunlight). He was fully aware of someone near him, but he couldn't bring himself to really care about it and just decided to simply ignore the other presence.

Her head peeked up from the document in her arms. She was midway paperwork delivery when she suddenly ran into a familiar face. Surprised but pleased to run into him, Hinamori couldn’t manage to utter a ‘hello’ before Hitsugaya started talking, his words causing her much concern. “Anou—” Suddenly, her head was being tilted downward as her lips met his for a brief and chaste kiss. Her petals remained still; too shocked by the sudden act of affection to do anything else.

And within a moment or two, it ended. Her cheeks were flushed peach with embarrassment and confusion. What the hell was that all about? Immediately, she used her hands to cover her lips, becoming silent for another passing second.
