Getting married again and having kids wasn't on as the kids say his bingo card for the year 2025, but he wasn't going to complain. "Wait.. Did you say twins?" His face seems to light up at that.

Porcelain fingers rake through her golden strands and she is so high-wired in her speech, Lizzie hardly realizes how fast she is delivering the news until he utters her name twice. Her anxieties become quelled the moment he squeezes her hands and kisses her knuckles. A tremulous breath is sucked into her lungs, betwixt clenching teeth. Tense shoulders sag under his soothing influence. She wastes no time, drawing near to him. In fact being in his arms felt more like HOME than any place she'd been in years.

"Yes, if it's to you." Is her knee-jerk reaction. Then Novak falters. "Well, I- I don't know. Do you?" Entreating, sheepish eyes lift upwards to meet his. "I mean, what we have is so incredible. I don't want to jeopardize that, and I certainly would never dream of trapping you. An-- and what about your ex-wife? Won't she be mad?" Her mind is positively REELING.

His inquiry earns him an eager nod of affirmation. "That's exactly what it shows on the sonogram pictures. Two-" Into his hands, she slips a string of black and whites. "Do you- do you know how to read these?" If not, she would teach him.
