I'm absolutely of the view that they don't bring anything positive to fandoms. I really don't. I know that there is, obviously, the 'nice' confessions, like someone saying they find a particular character inspiring to them, but it's never those posts that get circulated around. It's always, always, the trollish posts that are clearly made just to get a reaction.

Right? It's always, always the ladies loving ladies ship. It's never 'well, gosh, wouldn't it be super if Usagi and Mamoru were just friends, or Utena and Touga' etc.
'Why can't Utena just want to save her friend?' Okay, but why can't Utena want to save Anthy plus be in love with her? Is that really so mind-breaking?
