Today Susan and I joined Linda Le Dune, her family and friends in giving thanks for her husband Leon who passed away earlier this month. Susan and I got to know Leon well, in particular during our painting holidays at @umbria_chiesadelcarmine in Umbria. Guests loved to hear him playing the grand piano in the villa. I had the privilege of painting Leon several times. I sketched him painting the piano then did a large studio watercolour. I also painted his portrait in plus from life. Leon was a wonderful man of God, full of warmth, wisdom and Christ like character.
