How troublesome. When it came down to it, Shikamaru knew exactly how to form a good contradiction -- especially on himself. Someone who loved to learn, also had the fall back of being lazy -- but still, he'd do something if he didn't have a choice. Now, being in a class full of upperclassmen with the occasion of a few of his own class, the dark haired male was now paired up with an overjoyed girl, who happened to love Astronomy. Leaning back in his chair, he stared at the ceiling before closing his eyes for a moment. A long sigh was drawn from his mouth as he sat up, before pulling a chair over to the girl.
"So I'm gonna take a wild guess, and assume you love this class."
He said with a relaxed tone, resting his chin in the palm of his hand as he lazily looked at the girl next to him. This situation wasn't half bad, and neither was the class. Shikamaru just didn't feel like failing; Not that he ever did, sometimes he felt lazy. And if he ever did fail a class, it would hold better reasoning.
A Friendly Suggestion
Neji waited patiently for the bell to ring. After school today sing-ups for the school's sports day would be posted. Neji wasn't anxious for this because he realized that nothing really interested him. He preferred tai chi and meditation over rough sports like basketball. Neji was already signed up as a manager for the event so signing up didn't give him any kind of excitement.
The bell rang just as he started to think about how rushed the sign-up board would be. Everyone got up and left but Neji calmly put his things away and headed toward the exit, unfortunately this was in the same direction that the hoard of excited students were heading.
Neji was sucked into the dense rush of teenagers unwillingly. And he was forced to the sign-up board board just as everyone He tried a good many times to escape but bodies blocked him in all directions. Neji was about ready to speak up, but he thought better of it. There would be no use, nothing he could say would have any effect on anyone right then.
But When he was slammed up against the wall, right beside the students eager to get their desired sport, Neji lost his balance slightly. When it was regained, he stood up straight slowly, rubbing a sore spot forming on impact. Simultaneously, his eyes met with the mocha brown eyes of a good friend of his.
