A more upright sketch of Chika’sha. I couldn’t get her legs to agree with me so I didn’t finish it clearly, but I did this much! God I love drawing braids, haha. This is my Troll lady who’s paired with Airanke’s Bruadarus~ Don’t know if I’ll line and color this, might not. Lineart is being a brat to me lately. xD

Bruadarus didn’t know why she was upset. He had simply arrived at their humble abode in Val’sharah to find her in the upper parts, huddled in a corner, weeping softly.

When he had called out to her softly, she had jerked up her head and turned to look at him, tears streaming down her cheeks.

Of course he had wanted to know what had happened to make Chika’sha cry, but Chi had hastily rubbed at her cheeks, making the best attempt she could at giving him a convincing smile.

It was clear to the green dragon that she had hoped her tears would subside before he arrived.

Now the two of them sat on the bed downstairs, hardly big enough to accommodate Bruadarus’ larger form, even when he was sitting. Her legs were draped over top of his, her head lowered, fingers nervously twisting through her white locks.

The man sighed.

“Wat c’n I do?” he asked quietly, one hand reaching for hers. Chika’sha hardly looked up at him, mumbling a series of words under her breath - Bruadarus’ gaze softened, and he moved his hand from hers to brush through her hair.

“I didn’ catch dat?”

“N-nothin’, it um... it be nothin’...” she lied, swallowing the lump that must have been in her throat. The dragon released a hum, then cupped her face tenderly in both hands.

“Lemme distract ya, then,” Bru mused - then he inhaled, and pressed his mouth to hers. He parted his lips against hers, exhaling into her mouth. Chi was startled by the gesture at first, and gasped in the breath. Bruadarus pulled back, brushing his nose against hers as he gazed at her, a coy smirk pulling at his lips.

Her face was flushed, and her fingers had stilled in her hair.

“Bettah?”

“... c-could ju... ah... um...” Chika’sha released her hair in favor of grasping at the armor he wore, fingers tangling in the sheer fabric that covered his left shoulder, and in one of his braids, “couldjudodatagain.”

He chuckled softly, and complied - he inhaled, pulled her lips to his, and exhaled. This time, she inhaled, and after a moment, exhaled into his mouth. Bruadarus inhaled slowly, eyes closed, thumbs brushing against her cheeks - and he exhaled just as slowly.

Chika’sha’s hands traced up his forearms to the backs of his hands after several minutes had passed, the two of them still passing the breath back and forth, lips moving softly against the other’s.

Until, finally, a giggle bubble up in Chika’sha’s throat and she had to pull away. Bruadarus inhaled deeply, his eyes fluttering open to drink in her darkened cheeks and flushed neck. He drew her to his chest after she recovered from her giggling, running his fingers through her long hair.

“Tank you,” Chi whispered, leaning her full weight against him. He hummed against her hair.
