Hi hello Air!! How are you? I’ve been curious who your artistic inspirations are because I adore how how you draw your scenes (and romance of course haha~) and what art advice has helped/stuck with you? ;w;”
Hello my darling!!! I'm doing much better now that I have changed jobs (looong story ough)!
Oh man.... a lot of my artistic inspiration doesn't tend to come through in my work, but Alphonse Mucha's Art Nouveau is a huge one! My main style initially came from the Sengoku Basara Anime, and recently I noticed that Horikoshi's style for MHA has started to seep into my work! I also take huge inspiration from lots of Webcomics (Wilde Life, Phantomarine, Namesake, Crow Time, Awaken, Berserkir to name the main ones, and Suitor Armor / Daughter of the Lilies which are both on Hiatus right now!) I'm also quite inspired by Leaphia, Morteraphan, The Dusty Leaves, and Alexa Sharpe's styles for artists that I follow on Tumblr! (Actually this drawing I did of Dante and Abiteth is HEAVILY inspired by Morteraphan's work)
Inspirations from Twitter/Bluesky would be Saren Stone!
I tend to find a reference I like (Via Pinterest) and either recreate it as accurately as I can, or I'll take scenes from video games and recreate it in my style, couple examples here (first game is Beyond: Two Souls, and the second is Devotion - I really wanna finish the DabiTeth Devotion one pfft):
Oof art advice that has stuck with me?? The only thing I can think of is "the chest is one and a half of your head size down from the chin" 🤔 There's probably a lot of advice re: color theory, lighting, shading that I have internalized so I can't like tell you EXACTLY what has stuck with me?
I rely quite a bit on references, and/or vibes, because unfortunately I do draw a lot from the imagination 😅😅 I've recently saved quite a number of lighting "techniques" (easiest way to describe them) to help improve the mood of my work, all of which are largely present in my DabiTeth Color Wheel!
I hope this answers your question!!
Which did/do you enjoy more, stardew valley or fields of mistria?
Ooooh man... I love FoM's style/story/dating system a LOT but honestly I enjoy Stardew more!! Even though I have never married anyone in Stardew, it's the way I can customize things like the Community Centre, and ofc the modding community is amazing (FoM has mods I want to try but because the game is still "early access" I haven't installed any yet!)
Anyway yeah TLDR I enjoy Stardew more!
I'm so fucked.
I'm so fucked.
Finally finished this meme for Dabi and Abiteth 🩷💙

Best video game villain?
Feed your dashboard by answering my question, blogger.
Honestly Giovanni.
Okay so at this point I should just add Hawks to my Fruit (and other) series LMAO
Add the bird
Yes!
No!
For my fruit series... (and any subsequent series I do)
More "realistic", or keep the Chibi style?
Keep Chibi
Usual Style
(I would put in an option for "fuck it, you ball", but I want to keep the styles consistent!!!)
Chibi style (I think the Decora one is a more updated version of my Chibi style now)
And this is my usual style (which is what I'm referring to in the poll).
Only an hour left on this BUT HEY--
Slowly but surely the girls are developing some more distinct facial features (aside from ViVi and Abi having facial piercings versus KiKi who doesn't) 😌
Abiteth's face being the most shrouded in shadows is on purpose 😏

It is my birthday today!! Celebrating my very first drawing of Dabi x Abiteth from November 2020, to my most recent drawing of them from January 2026!
And, additionally, because of how important she is to me as a character... Abiteth's first iteration from December 2020, to her most recent iteration in 2025-2026.
What a wild ride.... can't believe I'm 35.

Okay I gotta decide on something.... so many projects that I'm working on and yes I'm doing Year of Triplets but I owe it to myself to finish a project I started last year this month (sort of. My Fruit series will take a while regardless, and especially because I decided I wanted to draw Verena and Fuyugiku for the series too).
Anyway, which one?
DabiTeth Color Wheel (gonna update it)
Decora Day (Dante/Abi's are done already)
Red Fruit (add Verena and Fuyugiku)
Images for your references (DabiTeth color wheel, Decora Day, Red Fruit - KiKi will be Strawberry, ViVi I can't decide between Cranberry or Cherry):
