. Lightning flashed outside the window, illuminating the room for a brief moment. The flash of light hadn’t lasted long, but it was enough for Dean to make out your tiny little silhouette sitting up in bed, clutching your blanket to your chest as giant tears rolled down the sides of your face. He realized what was happening and let out a sigh of relief.
It suddenly felt like it was easier for you to breath when you saw Dean sit up in his bed. ‘He’ll protect me,’ you thought before scooting to the edge of the bed.
