Our little brother au

Babes wake up, new au just dropped

I know I’ve already got aus I haven’t even written for yet but this one must be added to the list

the main plot is that its Neapolitan bros centric. Techno and Wilbur are twins that live together in an apartment because they’re both in college. They both have normal lives, or as normal as a stressed college student can get, and other than missing their dad, Phil, who lives hours away, life is great.

until they hear the crying.

both curious, the two brothers go check it out only to find a small creature.

it had golden curls and the brightest blue eyes, but what they really noticed was it looked no older than five.

it- they seemed almost completely human, except for size and some other more animalistic features.

and…they were crying, calling out for someone but based on how rough he looked, it seemed that person wouldn’t answer.

Wilbur and techno looked at each other, techno gave a silent nod, Wilbur stepped out into their line of vision.

the creatu- the young boy took notice of him and only seemed to cry harder, backing himself into a corner and curling up.

“hey…it’s okay little guy”

Warnings for swearing and fear

------ Of Giants and Avian Hybrids -------

Phil hadn’t meant to wander so far off the path. In fact, he’d been on his way to meet Techno for lunch.

But when he’d heard what sounded like a child crying, his paternal instincts led him directly toward the sound’s source, shivering a bit in the chilled air, wings puffing up. He came to the entrance of a large cave, hearing the sound of soft whines and teeth chattering.

“Hello?” Phil called into the cave, taking a hesitant step into the darkness. He blinked several times, trying to get his eyes to acclimate to the lack of lighting. “Is anyone there?”

A flash of pale movement in the cave startled Phil back a few steps, but he froze again at the sound of a loud sniffle. He reclaimed the steps as he paced forward slowly. “You alright, mate?”

And suddenly, there was the flash of pale movement again, this time feeling something large brush against him and then retreat. A moment later, there was a weight around his middle and he was in the air.

Phil let out a startled yelp, struggling instinctively trying to pry away whatever was on him. His brain slowly caught up and he froze as his eyes followed the object around him until it met an arm, and then a chest, and then finally a face.

He was in a fucking hand.

The giant holding him was young, maybe 13 based on his looks. But the dirt and grime in his hair and on his face honestly made him look older so he may actually be closer to 10 or 11. Phil’s heart softened in pity, wondering where the child’s family was.

It was replaced by fear pooling in his stomach as the giant reached out and pinched his wing, stiffening completely. The fingers weren’t necessarily rough, but they weren’t gentle either. They pulled a bit until his wing was stretched to its full length at an odd angle.

“Bird?” The voice rang out, echoing oddly in the cave.

The child’s blue eyes were wide in wonder, curiously running a fingertip over Phil’s feathers. He repressed a shudder at the feeling. The child shifted his hold on Phil, pinching his waist uncomfortably between a thumb and his forefinger. He cried out in pain as a fingernail dug a bit harshly into his side.

And then he was shifted, a bit quickly, to be sprawled on his back in a palm. His wings were out, flat against the child’s palm. He shakily sat up, mind and emotions whirring in overdrive. His wings flapped on instinct, brain telling him to run, to get the fuck out of there.

But his heart told him otherwise as he looked up at the kid. He recalled why he’d ventured out here in the first place as he noted how the boy’s eyes watered, looking glossy. He was just a kid.

“I-I didn’t mean to, I’m sorry.” The boy sniffled and Phil melted, quick to reassure and placate him.

“It’s alright, mate! No need to cry, I’m fine, see?” Phil offered lab small smile as he stretched his wings out, heart somehow melting further at the awed gasp he received when the child observed the ombre-like effect his wings created as they got darker toward the bottom. He smiled encouragingly as the kid gave a small smile back. “See? There we go, what’s your name, mate?”

“Tommy.” Phil shifted slightly, body buzzing with uncertainty. But he knew that he wasn’t leaving here without making sure the kid was okay. “Sorry I scared you...”

“No, no, mate, I was just a bit surprised, that’s all.” He reassured, body slowly coming down from its adrenaline high. “I’m Philza Minecraft, but you can just call me Phil.” A moment of silence stretched before he dared to ask, “Why were you crying, Tommy?”

“Wilby said that he was going to get food, but he’s been gone for a few hours.” Tommy grumbled, wiping at his eyes with his free hand. “It’s probably nothing, and I’m being a little bitch, but I don’t want to lose him, I guess.”

Phil’s heart shattered a bit and he shook his head with a soft smile. “It’s okay to be worried, Tommy. Who’s Wilby?”

And they talked for a while, Phil learning a lot about the kid. He was 11, Wilby was actually Wilbur and was Tommy’s older brother. Phil had made the mental decision to adopt both of them, and he belatedly remembered that he had had plans with Techno.

That was okay though. The piglin hybrid would certainly understand.

What if one night while borrowing, philza finally stumbled upon the room of a blond child that could be no old than 3. The issue? He noticed that the parents left a few hours prior, and this child was beginning to wake up.

Philza: why would they leave you alone?

Tommy: 0.0

Philza: . . .

Tommy: *grabby hands*

Philza: no.

Oops. Author make a convenient gush of wind appear resulting is Philza loosing balance and falling into the hands of the child. Expecting certain death from the young blond, he was shockingly surprised to find that the boy merely wanted to cuddle with him.

Philza decided he will accept this for now, writing it off as, “I’m only here to watch over the toddler.”

Spoiler alert: the child gained a new father.
