A ballpit, he'd heard of them but never played in one until now. The nine year old William leapt into the ballpit, his father would be furious but he had to try it at least once. That might have been a poor decision in retrospect. Resurfacing from the ballpit in a very strange place.
There were fake castles, bridges and as he swam out of the sea of plastic balls. He saw colorful mat floors, a maze of plastic pipes and fabrics and all sorts of animal, sun, moon and star decorations. This was... not where he was before. This was not circus play area... in fact he didn't think this was the Circus at all. Where was he?
William frown and he heard something yelling back near the ballpit as he walked along the matted floor. He couldn't see it though only hear he? It? Saying "Security Alert! Security Alert! Woohoowooohooowhooohoo!" Oh he had certainly done it now hadn't he? He was in trouble for jumping in the ballpit wasn't he? Blast! He made a dash for the double doors and slipped out as he hoped he hadn't been caught.
Where ever William was, he had better find his parents before he got into worse trouble! As he wandered the area he saw strange machines with flashlights. The dark haired boy marveled at them before stumbling backwards over something small and yellow. "Oof! Bother... frightfully sorry, are you alright?" He asked thinking it was a smaller kid dressed in yellow.
