More importantly, it's how you expect treatment from yourself. This is in thought speech and action. Deprivation of self care doesn't make anyone more noble. Innocence (I-know-sense)

Father, Bring me back to the stage of pure childlike innocence. A place where even in the most deep, most hidden corners of my heart knows no darkness, untouched by corruption & distant from the strings of society. Erase my memory like magic rub. That what I was once exposed to exists in my mind no longer. That the gray areas of my life would be brightened by Light, made clear to my mind like the sky on a warm, blue, sunny day. That I may no longer long for something that is dying, covered in mold & surely unappealing. Peace, invade. & Ignorance be my bliss. Mind, be still, & let the sand fall grain by grain through the tiny cracks between your fingers. Because no matter how firmly & tightly you grasp, it calls for escape, & is made to land elsewhere. It’s okay to not be in control. So let the burdens lift & the worries simmer away. The mind always runs. It will always run. Even if it’s heaving for breath because it’s so weary. It will still run. But your heart knows. Knows what you want & what you need. What you can handle & what you can never face. The heat may seem to burn you away. Ignites emotions within you & convinces you of passion. But the heat will only make the water evaporate. Where it cycles, yes, but ultimately disappears. Forgotten. Gone. Unseen. So bring me back to the playground. Carefree & almost unfairly joyful. The comfort of not knowing what’s beyond, & safe within boundaries.

Blind me from the darkness, so that I can be protected from it. Although then, darkness will be all I see, ironically. But it’s a different kind of darkness. A darkness of obliviousness, not a darkness of evil.

& I’m okay with that.

So back to the big, round- eyed little girl that looks up at you in pure honesty. Full vulnerability. Unaware of danger. & Simply enjoying you & the way you smile at her as you look into her pretty little innocent eyes, because you are the one & only source of hope & protection for her.

Leah had been jogging in the woods behind her house. Ever since the untimely death of her parents she had been forced to put her new boarding school on hold and move back to Beacon Hills to help her aunt take care of her seven year old brother. Jogging was a way she relieved her stress, however she was stopped short when she almost ran into someone, "oh, sorry. I didn't see you."

Once again, Scott had found himself in the woods, looking for a missing Malia. Ever since she’d found out about Peter, it was no secret that she was keeping herself a little distanced, but then again, who could blame her? Anyone else would probably do the same. As soon as the alpha walked onto the trail, he jumped right back. “Woah.” He laughed, careful to avoid a collision. “No no, it’s my fault. I shouldn’t have just walked out onto the path like that.”
