Hello! My family is getting back into practicing, and with homeschooling being a thing we are going to do again this year (we started mid last school year pre-Covid for different safety reasons) and I could use some low budget teaching resources to continue. (If I could afford online day school I would). They are in 5th and 7th grade, if that helps. Neither know Hebrew, but we have been working on that. They know most of their blessings in English and the holidays. !תודה רבה

Details of a sampler made by Margaret Grover, completed in 1787 when she was 12 years old. Making samplers was a common activity for young girls of the eighteenth century and would serve multiple educational purposes. In addition to developing sewing skills sampler designs often included things like the alphabet, words of wisdom, biblical themes or images thus reinforcing those lessons as well. Girls would be expected to utilize different kinds of stitches to create intricate designs and would have to put in a great deal of patience and hard work.
