ATTENTION HIKERS: We believe we have found the YOUNGEST hiker to have ever summited Mt Baldy on their own two little feet. Meet three year old Harper and her father, William (@britney_spears_ex). The pair set out to climb the 10,069' ft peak in July of 2017, and were greeted with the undying support of our hiking community upon reaching the summit. Read their inspiring story below⬇️: "She did the entire ascent with no shoulder time. It took seven hours to summit via the ski hut side due to lots of breaks for oreos and goldfish but she made it to the top all on her own. It was special for me to watch her so focused and not giving up. She had a little breakdown about 500 ft from the summit and I asked her if she wanted to be carried and she just said "but it's just right there and we don't give up"...melter hahaha ❤️ It was one of the coolest things to be part of, just how excited and inspired, as well as supportive everyone on the trail was, it really touched me. At age 3, Harper reached the peak of San Antonio, "Mt Baldy", to a standing ovation of 100+ hikers, some who stated that they were checking in with hikers that were coming up just to see if the 3 yr old was still on the trail because they wanted to be there when she hit the peak. I know this is all over the top, I just wanted to share.
