Warming up the ergobaby for her sister
We took Emerson for his first little hike today. He slept through the whole thing. (at Chickies Rock Overlook Trail)
I can’t recommend the ergobaby omni 360 enough. It’s comfy to wear and just takes seconds to pop the baby into once you’ve set it up. It’s got a great lumbar support and in my opinion, looks good.
Cosima seems comfy in it for up to 2 hours although she definitely wants to have a good stretch towards the end of that time! We’ll see how we do as she grows, but it has been great from newborn and I’ve loved it. We walk with it almost every day, usually for an hour or more, and it’s part of our napping schedule as she usually sleeps in it very nicely.
There have been a few occasions I’ve needed her to nap and have been able to put her in there and go for a walk and she has got her head down which is darned helpful, because as every mum knows, sleep breeds sleep!
Went for ritual tea and cake with some mum friends after Daisy ‘Tinies’ class yesterday and saw this beautiful display of penguins hanging from the rafters.
Thought of you @productivetimewasting! 💕
I’ve been using a stretchy wrap to carry Cosima since birth. I do use our pram if I’m out shopping for heavier items but otherwise prefer the ‘strap her on and use a backpack’ approach when out walking, or around the house when she’s fractious and doesn’t want to be put down.
We just bought an ergobaby omni 360 carrier which is sooooo handy as you can just clip it on in seconds and I love it! Yesterday after Daisy Tinies class I just clipped it on, applied baby to chest and strolled into town for coffee with friends and had none of the palaver of using a pram eg having to use lifts, find low pavements to cross roads, lack of space in shops, avoiding getting dog poo on the wheels, having to use rain covers, getting through doors etc.
Cosima just slept the whole time we walked and chatted and did some shopping afterwards. 👌 👍
Ps excuse lack of makeup in photo I was ready for bed lol
