Whoops
When I was little I didn't know about gender orientation and whatever so I had this crazy thought that if two girls did "it" then they could both get impregnated
There are things that are best kept. Specially when it wouldn't make any changes at all.

14: My greatest achievement: Oh, wow. Way to start off with a hard one. Basically whatever I answer I'm going to feel inadequate as a 21-year old human being, eh? Well, I'm really proud of all of my work with EWB - which of course encompasses a lot, but I think in particular the few years I spent working in youth engagement I'm really proud of. I didn't know it at the time, but I've since been approached by people I presented to who have now gone on to study engineering and be involved in EWB and who said that they were inspired by things I said and showed to them and challenged them on when they were in high school and if even a TINY PORTION of that is at all true or accurate then holy wow because I'm a goof but apparently I dun good.
16: 5 favourite songs right now:
i. The Glee cover of 'Love Shack' (DON'T LAUGH AT ME)
ii. Charlene Kaye - Hummingbird Heart
iii. Ólafur Arnadls - Ljósið
iv. Bruce Springsteen - My City of Ruins
v. Of Monsters and Men - Little Talks
21: The one place I want to be right now: Where I am, but outside. I'm inside writing Canadian Foreign Policy essays (I mean, uh.... on tumblr), and I would love to go kayaking or biking outside. I'm finally home in my woods but I don't get to enjoy it :(
25: My future plans: I graduate next December, and I've got a few things I'm considering doing right after - I'm not going straight to grad school, I'm going to work with a few different NGOs and groups first to really straighten out what I want my contribution to and role in development to be, but I do plan to work in international development/international relations. Right now it's looking like communications is my best "in," but I still need to refine what that looks like and do some experimentation with different groups and contexts. I honestly could also be perfectly happy working at a children's library or editing YA novels for the rest of my life, so. At some point I do want to teach (at whatever level, in whatever way), but I'm too frustrated at Education as a Thing right now to be able to head straight there.
Non career-wise, I also plan to live in NYC at some point - although what's freaking me out right now is that theoretically I could be living there in less than a year sdflskh;dfsldjfs. As soon as I'm living where I'll be stable for a while (which could take some time), I want a kitten or several. Hopefully by that point they'll have invented really potent allergy meds so that I can do that, lol.
