Why are people only now complaining about Iain Glen being too old for Batman in Titans? He was cast months ago..... Did you think they would put him in prosthetics to make him look younger or something??? Plus he was literally in two seconds of the trailer, give him a chance before you all scream "bad casting", jeez.
Reasons Levi could be wary of introducing Nico to his family without them being anything less than the wonderful and loving people we have assumed them to be
— he has doubts about the seriousness of their relationship and just needs to communicate with the love of his life his boyfriend
— he is worried his family will come on too strong and scare Nico off talking about weddings and babies and shit
— he is having a completely natural moment of gay panic and overthinking everything and just needs to chill the fuck out
— he thinks they’ll be worried about the fellow/intern thing
— his mom tells him to bring Nico over and he spends the day worried he’ll think it’s too soon until they’re finally in the same room and Nico is just like um...I literally said I wanted you to spend Christmas with my family after dating for a month??
— the opportunity to introduce him is a family event and he thinks it’s too soon
— someone makes a throwaway remark that plants doubt in his mind and he needs to realize that it doesn’t necessarily apply to their relationship
— and on and on and on and on
I'm always late to the part since I watch the episodes on Monday evening but this is me walking into the fandom today:
I’m not at all worried for Weiss’ survival
and let me tell you why. Aside from the fact that she’s a main and title character, take a look at where she was hit.
Below the chest, between the 8th and 9th rib. Glancing at human anatomy, this means that the spear pierced her back, then most likely through her liver and ribs.
Under normal circumstances, Weiss would bleed out from an injury of this type in a matter of minutes, given that it completely impaled her body and that the approximate width of the spearhead could mean that the lower portion of her lung was punctured, thus making it nearly impossible for her to breathe.
However, the area around her wound is visibly glowing, which translates fairly well in RWBY to the spear being heated. It is fire surrounded by glass, after all. The spear burned through her body, cauterizing as it went, and there was no further trauma from it being removed as it simply dissipated.
Taking into account these factors, Weiss’ injury, while undoubtedly excruciating, is non-fatal. She passed out from the shock and pain, but she won’t bleed out. Left untreated, she could certainly still die, but the likelihood of no one running to her aid is honestly 1:1000000.
With any minor internal bleeding taken care of, her Aura recovered, and given ample time for her body to heal, Weiss should be physically perfectly fine.
when there’s drama happening in some corner of the fandom but you are just busy with your ships and fics like -
you know hes coming back right? like hes being elusive and not saying on purpose just to create hype for the new season. hes playing yall
