Im so confused about the tumblr blackout. Like I get why people are mad about tumblr's policies and how it functions, the Live thing alone would warrant it, but so far none of the post I've seen for the blackout actually give a clear concrete list of reasons for what they're trying to accomplish, just that anyone who doesn't agree with them is a scab......

And historically strikes with vague terms don't do well either.

the post that do give clear reasons and outlines are the ones talking about how it won't have the same effect cause tumblr doesnt work like reddit, and the ones pointing out that this all just seems reactionairy to "Oh reddits doing it and their cool" and pointing out that doing it during disability pride month when so many disabled people are hyper reliant on online communities for social networking and support just seems insensitive and targeted.

I don't disagree that the big wigs running Tumblr need a wake up call and that there is a lot of bs here that needs to be fixed, I agree with the notion of a blackout, but only if it makes sense, and so far no one who is pro-blackout is making it make sense for me

I think we need to calm down about Teen Titans

More specifically the “news” that Michael Jerelic, co-producer of your new favorite show, Teen Titans Go!, said at WonderCon that “he can almost guarantee the original Teen Titans are coming back”. 

I’ve seen post after post, news article, and even that fake promotional ad that was just fan art done for a fan wiki for season 6 and it’s kinda giving me a headache.

Look I’m probably one of the biggest Teen Titans fans out there, hell it was this show that sparked me to read all the comics and such, but any time possible “news” comes out about the revival of the series people flip out like worse than when Brother Blood couldn’t understand why Cyborg could beat his mind control.

And anytime season 6 is talked about it’s the same things over and over again: “What about Terra? Who is Red X? Will Beast Boy and Raven kiss?” Like these are the only things in the show that mattered at all to them. I bet if you only make 3 more episodes dedicated to each of these topics half of the fanbase would stop asking for Teen Titans because it’s only the shipping that matters to them.

Bringing back Teen Titans isn’t going to be like some second coming (even though I might treat it that way if it does), but let’s all try to be adults here and stop taking any passive remark or mention like it’s confirmed to premiere the following week. 

News about season 6 pops up every year and it’s always over blown fluff. So let’s try and calm down about it for a change.
