Yo TT!I found today's ep really entertaining... but I noticed something as well! Idk if it's just me or are Om and Shivaay really patronizing towards Rudra sometimes? I mean yeah he's kinda slow, but they make him do everything and constantly insult his intelligence, even when there's not really any need to do that and they can get their point across without having to comment on his apparent "stupidity". It was especially obvious in today's episode.

Personally, I liked yesterday’s episode better, but today was fun too! I want the girls to discover the baby already though. This whole “girls being suspicious” track is really getting on my nerves. Either just get rid of those scenes entirely and give that screentime to the boys + baby, or have the group all together. The girly scenes just aren’t working. (I blame Bhavya. If it was just Anika and Gauri, it would have been more fun.) 

Now, I don’t have siblings, but I think that’s just how older siblings in general are? Especially when it’s all boys. They’re always making the youngest one do their ghulaami and making their life hell just for shits and giggles. As far as these particular siblings are concerned, this is just how their dynamic has been from the start of the show; Shivaay and Om as a unit (because they’re almost the same age) and them pulling Rudra’s leg. Om has always been the snarkier one who doesn’t really demonstrate any affection towards Rudra (except in very emotional situations), whereas Shivaay babies Rudra a lot more (their age difference is about 10 years); he’s always patting Rudra’s hair or fussing over him like a mother hen, and is more physically demonstrative of his affection (but funnily, seems to have michmichi if Rudra gets too touchy-feely with him!) 

I don’t particularly think Rudra is a victim in this situation or anything; he gives as good as he gets, calling the other two out on their nonsense as well. I also think Rudra’s happy to be the butt of the joke a lot of times (he actually mentions this in one episode, I think. I don’t remember which one though.) It’s just his “place” in the group, the “silly” one who makes the other two lighten up. 

In this track, we can chalk up all the extra snark to the fact that they’re all confused and bewildered and sleep deprived. Besides, the older two are horrrrrrible liars, esp. to their wives. Rudra just generally has an outlandish personality and is likely to get away with acting weird, whereas the other two will invite even more questions with how awkward they are.

Not a fan of those type of Akshay Kumar comedies. I can baaarely tolerate him in Priyadarshan remakes. I prefer Akshay in action stuff. 🙃🙃🙃

Same! Shivika got me like 😍😍😍. But there us one thing I cannot get over still. It's Rudra's new ~love interest~ idk about you but she looks to me YET another stick thin, bubbly, masoom small-town girl and I cannot BELIEVE they traded saumya - an amazing, beautiful, educated, mature, sensible, adorable, independent girl with a plus-sized body for ... that. I don't want to be that person, and have nothing against the actress but I'm SO, SO disappointed.

-continued- And it has absolutely nothing to do with her relationship with rudra (although love-interest wise she was perfect for him too).She was the modern character we all deserved. I related far more to her than anyone else on the show.She was intelligent, well-mannered, brave, loyal and so understandimg. I loved her random mentions facts amd figures. I love how she worked part-time and handled her college at the same time. Why tf did they have to drop her character?Ugh sorry im just bitter.

I was waiting to see more of the girl before making a judgement on her, and what I’ve seen so far hasn’t impressed me. However, I’m very intrigued by this superhero alter ego she seems to have in the precap for tomorrow! How ironic would it be if pehelwaan got a girl who’s stronger than him? 😝😝😝

But yeah, despite the mild amusement I’m getting from this, I’m still unabashedly #teamRuMya. Saumya was in every way the “takkar” waali to Rudra - who’d impress the importance of smarts and being emotionally strong and loving yourself no matter what you look like, on him. And most importantly, I was ecstatic to see that for fucking onceeeeee, a plus sized girl was being shown as attractive. And not the usual “inner beauty” crap that is reserved for “unconventional looking girls”, he was actually physically attracted to her, and that was so unprecedented and amazing. They really had a chance to do something special and new with these characters, but dropped the ball, as per usual. 😒😒😒

I’ll tolerate this cry baby supergirl for the time being, but for the long haul, I WANT MY SUMOOOOOOO BACKKKKKKKKKK! 😩😩😩

lmao i just found a really old webcam video of myself from when i first started watching merlin. i was only on ep 1x04 at the time and went on a rant because i thought the “do you think her beautiful” scene that i had seen on youtube was supposed to be in the premiere bc of the red dress, and i thought hulu had cut it out and i was so mad about it
