This iced vanilla cold brew is the perfect summer drink to keep you cool and caffeinated. The vanilla and simple syrup add a touch of sweetness, making it a delightful treat on a hot day.
Ingredients: 1 cup coarsely ground coffee beans. 4 cups cold water. 1/4 cup simple syrup adjust to taste. 1 tablespoon vanilla extract. Ice cubes. Milk or cream optional.
Instructions: Combine the coarsely ground coffee beans and cold water in a large jar or pitcher. Stir well to ensure all the coffee grounds are fully saturated. Cover the jar or pitcher and let it steep in the refrigerator for 12-24 hours. Once steeped, strain the cold brew concentrate through a fine-mesh sieve or a coffee filter into another container to remove the coffee grounds. In a glass, add ice cubes and pour the cold brew concentrate over the ice, leaving some space at the top. Add simple syrup and vanilla extract to the glass and stir well to combine. Adjust the sweetness to your liking. If desired, add milk or cream to taste. Serve chilled, and enjoy your refreshing iced vanilla cold brew!
