Desert Willow aka Chilopsis (Chilopsis linearis) - I found these beautiful & delicate blossoms & the tree containing them on the grounds of the apartment complex where I live. I’d like to thank my friend Rhyannon for the initial identification. “It is commonly called desert willow because of its willow-like leaves, but it is not a true willow – being instead a member of the catalpa family. It is a shrub or tree native to the southwestern United States and Mexico.
