My fav Ninjago Characters

My favorite Ninjago characters are Harumi, lloyd and sensei garmadon. Im also a big Lord ras fan because hes just super cool and the closetst we have to a chima character in ninjago. Then there is also morro wich actually isnt one of my favorite characters and I like probably way less than the average ninjago fan but I thought fits in the picture. Tormak is there because I wanted to have the two best lego dads in one picture and so he can be compared to ras.

I was one of the 5 Chima kids growing up who did not migrate over from the end of Ninjago. While i enjoyed the show and hold it close to my heart, I do have a lot of critiques for it now that I'm older. I'm very focused on oc projects at the moments but I have had a sort of rewrite brewing on and off for the past year... Idk how deep I'd ever get into it but i think it would be nice to get a foundation down for the plot

These additional drawings above was me trying to find a way to stylize the animals in a way i liked as well as test out some colour pallet ideas. Ive never drawn crocodiles before they're so awkward they look so goofy at certain angles.

Rewrite wise I'm sticking as close to the original plot of the show as possible, however there are already some major changes world building and characterization wise (lego shows try to write a woman challenge IMPOSSIBLE). It will very much be influenced by my own tastes and preferences so it might not be for everyone but i am trying my best to improve upon the source material. If theres intrest I might post about some of the developments I've made so far

So out of morbid curiosity I watched this old Legends of Chima DVD I had laying around, it was of the first two episodes, and....

Yup, the show isn't very good. Like, at all.

For a show about rival nations getting into conflict the conflict is awfully one sided XD anyways, I thought Crooler had a cool design along with the other characters and drew her! Sorry about the low res, this was a roughsketch I decided to add rendering to instead of my usual process of bumping up the sketch resolution before doing lineart.
