This beautiful golden gown appeared in the BBC fantasy drama television series 𝑴𝒆𝒓𝒍𝒊𝒏 three times over the years. The first sighting was in the episode 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑮𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑨𝒗𝒂𝒍𝒐𝒏 in 2008, worn by Holliday Grainger as Sophia. It was seen that same year again, with alterations to the sleeves on Alice Patten as Ygraine Pendragon in the episode 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒊𝒏𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑭𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓.
