I had a dream there was an Animorphs book where the Animorphs tried making chimera morphs. The only one I remember clearly from the dream was Jake combining a tiger and crocodile.
I didn't quite capture it right - there are supposed to be armored scutes running up to the back of the head, but I was in a rush drawing this before I have to go to work. I also kind of gave up on the tiger stripes by the time I got to the back legs.
I think the advantages of this morph, if you could actually make it work, would be the extra armor and the tail that you could use for thwacking enemies who close from behind. Might also be really good at swimming. Disadvantages - Biological impossibility, jumping might be thrown off a bit by the tail, strong urge to go swimming.
