“In danger of failing” well it’s kind of hard to pass when the professor both grades based on how close to the due date you get something in - before it’s actually due mind you - and every writing assignment will have massive points docked if there’s a spelling/grammar mistake
Mind you, this is a Spanish course
For most of us this is a second language that we’re high intermediate in at best (for someone in my class it’s his THIRD)
Heavens forbid we’re relying on the computer to catch a mistake we don’t know is there and it doesn’t (especially when it’s an accent do you know how hard it is to actually get the shorthand for those to work)
I’d understand if it was like a 5 point deduction but it feels like he grades more based on “did you, someone who’s first language isn’t even Spanish, expertly nail all the grammar and accents? No? Fuck you” than “did you answer the prompt”
