The Chinese Junk outside the cinema where I watched Crazy Rich Asians. The ship is visually impressive and gives a good flavour of China - but is not the real thing. The film felt a little the same to me. Of course I'm not the target audience and a Hong Kong friend said there was a lot which resonated with his own experience - but we agreed that as a film it was a little too Hollywood and not quite asian enough.
