Thought I'd draw Kuroki from my Sifu fic! The first painting features her house from the arena levels, which is most definitely not a portal to the underworld loll (and it's not directly stated whether it is or isn't her home, but given the location and architecture/style, I've assumed it is XDD)

In the second painting, she's hanging out with MC - who is in turn hanging out with the Water talisman! I took Kuroki's parasol from the arena level with her house; I did a shoddy job at drawing it, so next time I'll try to make it look better ^^;;

The magical objects of Sifu! Five talismans stolen, and one pendant given.

Okay so, I spent a day on each painting and ended up finishing these in six days! The Sifu brainrot is real lololl But I wanted to go for another polished painting series since the first one was so much fun: this time, the theme is about defeating the Guardians who kept the talismans, leading up to the game's prologue.

From left to right, we have:

Fajar and the Wood talisman

Sean, his father, and the Fire talisman

Kuroki and the Water talisman (with a cameo of her father)

Jinfeng and the Metal talisman

Yang, MC, MC's father, and the Earth talisman

Female MC and the immortality pendant

I took the Guardians' designs from Jinfeng's conspiracy board in her boss level! Thankfully, MC's father, Sean's father, and Jinfeng already have clear designs, so that was easy to work with XDD

As for the talismans themselves, they're only mentioned in-game but never explicitly shown like the immortality pendant. I imagine they look like traditional Chinese talismans, slips of paper covered in seal script writing, and such.

Another Sifu painting from my fic, featuring Earth talisman shenanigans; more specifically, Yang is trying to control MC's spirit, but MC ends up using his powers against him!

I was kinda embarrassed to post this at first loll but then I was like, I've spent way too long trying to fix Yang's face that I can't not post it XD I also really like how their pose turned out, especially their hands! I love drawing hands (except when they're being difficult hahaa)

More from my extended Sifu fic, once again with Sean and the Fire talisman! I remember mentioning MC's love language regarding Sean in one of my earlier Sifu fanarts - Sean strikes me as someone who doesn't like hugs or any kind of physical affection in general, so MC's workaround is to lean against him instead :''')

More of Yang and the MC from my extended Sifu fic (which I've finally started posting on AO3, hope y'all enjoy if interested XDD)! This time, he's interrogating her while giving her treatments; the Earth talisman makes an appearance, too! I think it'd be pretty nervewracking to find yourself trapped in the domain of someone who has medical powers ^^;;

This was once again a painting where I struggled with capturing Yang's features, but I'm really happy with how he turned out! It just took me lots of fiddling and small edits hahaa

I ended up writing an "extended edition" of my Sifu fic, including more interactions between fem!MC and the bosses, and more exploration of the talismans' influence. And then I thought, why not draw some of the chapters? XDD

So here's a small scene with MC and Sean, along with the Fire talisman! The composition for this one was tough to get at first, but I'm happy with how it turned out. As a heads-up, my upcoming Sifu paintings will also be for the fic - I haven't posted the extended version yet, but I hope to do so sometime this month and include the paintings in their respective chapters :D

From the extended version of my Sifu fic: MC and the Metal talisman sneak through the Tower as partners in crime XDD

I wanted to try practicing with some backgrounds for these, so I ended up using the arena levels as a base for the first two (and even then, it's still super sketchy loll backgrounds are tough T_T). The third painting's location is the forge from the game's main story!

The Path to Wude: Sparing Fajar

Here’s the first painting in my new series for Sifu! It’s based on the spare-the-bosses mechanic, which leads to the game’s true ending; in all honesty, I just wanted to draw the main character with the bosses loll And there will also be some spoilers for the game’s story/lore in my descriptions, so uh, just a heads up!

Fajar’s spare cutscene intrigued me the most because he just looks so humbled and defeated after the MC proves that they can beat him easily. What’s even more interesting is that Fajar hurt the MC when the latter was young (as illustrated here), and I feel like it adds more weight to the MC’s choice of letting him go.

Another note: the MC will use the bosses’ weapons against them during the fights, which I think it’s a pretty cool touch XDD So I decided to include it here, kinda like the MC has taken their power away from them.
