I will never read these 6 books I wrote
I noticed the Chinese translations of BILLY SMITH AND THE GOBLINS (6 volumes in translation as opposed to 3 in English) are available on Amazon. It's an odd feeling knowing that I'll never be able to read these, and I have no idea if they're any good, nor do I know the name of the translator, and I'll probably never meet her/him.
I am curious about them though. Has anyone ever read them? Are they good? How did the translator render the goblin language, dialect, and names in Chinese characters? How would a native Chinese reader interpret the politics, especially of Sawtooth in Book 1 and of the Hanorian Empire in Book 3.
I have a lot of questions.
And I'll probably never get answer. Which, in the age of the internet, is weird.
Anyway, buy my books, maybe even in Chinese!
And hey, let's all take a look at Tom Fowler's awesome cover art again because I love it.
