It’s Mother’s Day and my host mom wanted to go out for Chinese brunch to celebrate it.
The first place we went to had an enormous waiting line so we drove somewhere else. As expected, it was crowded everywhere but we managed to get a table pretty quickly at the second place. Brunch was good. It was buffet-style where the employees walked around with carts with food on them and you picked what you wanted. They wrote it down on your table’s check and you paid at the end. The system worked really well and the food was good. We relaxed at home the rest of the day.
