I'm on episode 9 of Our Times. Definitely this is a different kind of drama. I have to say Wu Lei is a born salesman, so Xiao Chaung fits. The other guy played by Liu Haoren (sp) is rather boring, but he's a well drawn character. I don't know what to think of this girl. His girl Tan Yuan is okay, but they are a bit like porridge to me. I know way too much about the plot to say much more. Darn Fan Made Videos ruin you, but they are so pretty!
Xiao Chuang's mantra so far is "Don't keep it inside." He is all out in this one and very romantic in an endearingly earnest somewhat blustery way. I will explore the Mandarin later. I intend to make a full review of the drama. Screen capping is just not my cup of tea. I have a feeling there will be a lot of inflated highs and lows in this drama - that's the thing about melo's or more serious dramas right?! Great acting, especially from WL and Mao Xiao Hui. They are pretty well matched although he is by far the seasoned one I feel.
