A portrait of my interpretation of Vashti for my story/retelling "Tale of Two Queens".

While the text of The Book of Esther states that she was beautiful, I chose to interpret her as unconventionally attractive, and I deliberately gave her features traditionally considered "masculine", a long face with sharp features and light facial hair. She also has visible acne because she's meant to be a teenager with a "realistic" appearance rather than an idealized one.
