Posted @withrepost • @benlaitheasianguy Need an exercise that works on your posture while obliterating your posterior chain with an added bonus of improving sprint mechanics? Try the stride simulated single leg Chinese plank chest pass. I got this idea after seeing a recent post by @dr.joelseedman_ahp highlighting a pullover variation of the Chinese plank. I have been having some aches in my lower back and hamstring as I am revamping my sprinting technique and sometimes revert back to my old running technique when fatigued, which overly taxes those areas. In order to perform this exercise, the body has to be in proper alignment, which can be seen in my transition as my body straightened out when switching legs. Any energy leak will decrease the height of the chest pass as power output will be diminished and either the ball or your body will fall off to the sides. #chineseplank #posturecorrection #sprinttraining #sportsperformance #torontoathlete #functionalstrength #explosivetraining #sportsperformance #fitfam #athleticeatery #torontofitness #athleticconditioning #medicineballtraining #sportsspecifictraining #physicalculture #reactiontraining #athleticcommunity https://www.instagram.com/p/BykY0rthVTu/?igshid=8y1dz60nx88m
