Tunes and melodies that would have really struck home with her gross romantic self back at Stanford when Sam was by her side seemed to be on repeat in the small cafe. The early afternoon was always a little slow, since students were in class and people were at work, so trying to strike up a conversation was necessary. Besides, the blonde could always use some social interaction that wasn’t asking if people wanted espresso in their coffee or telling them what they owed... and a conversation about a music genre was as good as any. Normal, Jess liked that.
