“Feeding Chipmunks” by John Clymer on the cover of “The Saturday Evening Post,” May 16, 1953.
And this is why we go through 20+ lbs of birdseed per week... The feeders are 5ft off the ground, the raccoon climbs the skinny pole. Love that 1st pic, the sideways glance: "Damn, busted". Keeps our cats amused 😺 Oh, and the raccoons know about the cat-door and help themselves to that food, too.
Big commission piece for @portlypossum-blog of their character Quailo, a chipmunk quail gryphon. Not my tallest piece, but one of the heaviest and a load of feather detail!
The full back has a nice striped pattern too, but you can only see it if you look under the wings. Still glad I put it in, I think it's a nice added detail. :)
I'm currently working away at Anime North pieces, (more of those to come tomorrow), but if you'd like a piece for yourself, please check out the shop.
