Chip’s Damage: A Commentary and Review

The theme song was as great as ever.

Elodie comes to the plaza to get KO so that they can reprogram him to be better. This fails, and after him wrecking the plaza, Greyman interferes and inspires them to give him 100% free will. This works, and he decides that his time as a hero is over.

Wow. That got dark at the end. But it wasn’t treated like it. Weird.

Things I noticed:

KO and Elodie throw what is basically Chip’s corpse into the crowd. Um...

OK KO has this thing where they recap episodes by having a character spew information while intensely staring into the camera as it slowly zooms into their face and it is both hilarious and terrifying.

Foxtail x Greyman? It’s more likely than you think.

Rating: 8/10. Good episode. Chip dies at the end. How did this get past regulations.

Number of holes in roof: 0. Please.

{Chip Damage transforms his arm into a flamethrower and shoots a blast of flames at KO, but due to the anons messing with his sensors, it misses by a long shot and hits the gravel of the parking lot, not hitting any cars.

KO teleports behind him, kicking him with his blazing foot.}

don't kick yourself now or you'll trip yourself up! and this isn't just YOUR problem! its Elodie's too. you both were huge fans of Chip, you wanted to see him back... but neither of you have super skills at programming superhero robots. let alone a custom job like Chip!

Yeah. I shouldn't beat myself up when I have a job to do.

{KO lights his fists on fire and throws several power fists at Chip Damage. Most of them hit the robot, who was squeezing Brandon into a vending machine. Doing this makes Chip perceive KO as a threat, and attack him.}

You are dealing with Chip Damage here. Robot or not, he's really strong! And if you take the self-control option off it can go really bad because he can't hold back that strength.
