I saw Krista do this questionaire and it looked fun. (link to the original questionaire here!) SO.
I’ll do Numbuh Triple 8 (Trip) and Numbuh 0077 (Chris)
QUESTION #1: When your character has to give a superior a report on why they failed a mission, they choose to “embellish” their part of the story. What genres, animation styles, and even particular shows themselves influence their story? What does this say about their character?
Trip’s would likely be really pretty 2d animation, thin lines, flowing movements. Like a student thesis film. Or, alternatively, very sketchy. She is an artist after all.
CHRIS’S WOULD BE A FILM NOIR GENRE WITH HIM BEING THE PROTAGONIST ALL COOL AND SUAVE (And Trip would be his sidekick and he over emphasizes how MADLY IN LOVE SHE IS WITH HIM because he’s a precious nerd with a crush)
QUESTION #2: A fly enters your character’s room. What do they observe in your room? How does your character treat the fly? What does that say about your character?
Trip would probably be bothered if it was making a noise but simply shoo it away if she could. She wouldn’t want to kill it. If it was a quiet fly she’d probably let it slide. The fly would just see her in her dorm, surrounded by cool posters and Trip drawing.
Chris wouldn’t really be bothered either way He’d probably have headphones on and not even notice. Chris’s room is incredibly organised and tidy, and resembles more of a office than a bedroom.
QUESTION #3: Welcome to the negaverse! A bizarre world where good guys are bad, bad guys are good, and everyone’s personality is flipped on its head! (i.e. Cool quiet posi-verse kids are obnoxious, dorky negaverse ones and vice-versa!) What’s your character’s negative universe counterpart like? What strengths and weaknesses, good parts and bad parts make up their personality and skills? What does that say about your character?
OH GOD NEGATIVE TRIPLE 8 WOULD BE SO TERRIFYING. Like she would have serious anger issues and snap at anyone who gets in her way for the tiniest things. And she would be so intimidating. Would probably KILL YOU without batting an eyelid or feeling the slightest hint of remorse. But on the flip side she’d also probably be a lot more confident.
Chris is.... a little harder since he’s a pretty complex character. But I guess he would come across as somewhat sweet and kind but actually be this smug, cruel, snooty asshole. Needs to be the center of attention constantly and is pretty useless at weaponry. On the flip side, he’d probably find it easier to make friends than real Chris.
QUESTION #4: A dastardly antagonist has caramelized your characters most valuable skill/trait! What skill or trait would that be, and how would your character look and act without it? What does that say about your character? And most importantly, how does your skill/trait taste in delicious bite-size caramel form?
Trip’s would likely be her empathy. So she wouldn’t be able to connect to people and would be incredibly blunt without any kind of remorse for how she might make others feel. I think it’d taste quite sweet.
Chris’s would be his technical ability I think. He’d become pretty useless at everything and very clumsy.Gets frustrated at himself for not being able to do anything. (Would taste like engine oil. Blegh.)
“You’re pretty god damn awful at that.”
