Death

Growing up where death was a daily thing, Noriko has grown somewhat numb to it. Now I’m not saying if someone she cares for dies she’ll just shrug it off, I’m just saying that she won’t be as broken down as a normal person would be. 

Love

When it comes to love, Noriko’s a bit shy about it because she has lost so many people she loved. She’ll probably be a bit shy around the person who holds her affection at first but slowly warm up to them. 

Plans

Noriko may not be very good at planning her work schedule as she is usually binge-working the night before her papers are due; but during battle Noriko is a very quick thinker and can plan very devastating combos or ways to get out when in a pinch.

Promise Betrayal

Headcanon: Promise

“Keep every promise you make and only make promises you can keep.”

When she was much younger, Temari had promised Kankurou one night that things would eventually get better. She once promised Gaara, that things would be different, people would be different and the world would one day be different. They were large promises and she had so little control over the real outcomes of those promises. How could she know things would get better? How would she know that people would change? That the world would change? That everything would one day be different? She didn’t, but she knew that she could make the world better for her brothers, no matter how small. She could do everything in her power, with every fiber of her being, every ounce of her soul to change everything for the better. However, she didn’t have to do it all by herself, fate would see it fit to help an older sister keep her promises to her baby brothers.

Headcanon: Betrayal

“Love is whatever you can still betray. Betrayal can only happen if you love.”

For many years, Temari believed her father had betrayed them all – he had betrayed the village, the vows to protect and defend. That he had sacrificed his family’s happiness to craft a legacy that would never be forgotten. It was the hardest betrayal to accept – that the man who was supposed to be a guiding figure, a man who should have raised them, trained them, loved them cared so little about them. She swore that she’d never love a man who reminded her anything of her father, and if she ever became a parent – she’d never treat her children the way that he had treated her and her brothers. Yet, when she was brought face to face with this man long after his death – and through Gaara’s words she learned that betrayal can only end when one learns to forgive and move on.
