Happy publication day to You’re Strong With Me by @chitrasoundar and @poonammistryart! . I’ve been so excited for this to be released! I loved Chitra and Poonam’s first two books, but this might be my new favourite. In this story we follow a little baby giraffe as her mother teaches her about the world, and assures her that until she gets older, she’s ‘strong’ with her mother. . The story is beautifully written and I imagine it is a very comforting read for children. The illustrations, as always, are mesmerising. Each page is a new work of art that compliments Chitra’s words perfectly. If I could, I’d definitely get a few of the pages framed! (Bonus: there are also beautiful gold foil details on the cover) .
