La Estampa: Entre La Diversidad Y La Hibridacion, group exhibition at MUNAE, Mexico City, December 11, 2014 - March 8, 2015.
The exhibition will be on display at the MUNAE from December 11, 2014 to March 8, 2015 and will occupy two floors of the museum (eight exhibition halls, a vestibule and a long corridor). L’art imprimé : entre mixité et hybridité revisists the realm of print to reveal the challenges it faces today. The exhibition – mapped into four sections – illustrates how exposure to new technologies and artistic disciplines such as immersive practices, sculpture, video, as well as installation and performance art has caused the status of print in contemporary art to evolve. The hybrid and diverse nature of techniques and media shows us how print today can expand, how it can be showcased, exported or transposed, and ultimately changes our way of thinking about this art form. The participating artists have been selected for their interest in printmaking, their openness to new artistic disciplines, as well as their bold and multidisciplinary vision.

In our latest work, We’re never gonna get close because it’s hanging, since we took off the horse but kept the rider, we are creating temporary interventions in screenprinted paper and Tyvek to place on public sculptures and monuments throughout Victoria. By intervening directly on existing sculptures, we seek to examine the conventions and reception of public art in a playful, irreverent manner.
