Sorry if this is actually a dumb question but would it not be cheaper just to get a second hand VHS player? There's only 3 Gallery videos in total and depending on the VHS tapes you have you might have them all :3 (I hope I don't sound insulting asking this i'm not trying to be i'm just genuinely curious-)

yeah i’ve got #1, and the 3rd one is actually still in japan at the moment. haven’t gotten around to actually shipping it yet >_> but it is mine. i try to bundle more stuff up when i import things.

it’d be easier to just look for something i can hook up directly to the pc but stuff i’ve looked at in the past has been kind of expensive. otherwise i’d have to get an old tv and figure out how to digitize that whole thing... /shrug

i might just buy the software and equipment eventually if i really still can’t find dvds under $200 or so i guess aaaaaa
