Chloe should have been revealed to be rA9
In my honest opinion there should a resolution to rA9 and Chloe should have played a bigger role in the story.
In Detroit become human they said that rA9 is the first Android to awaken and set the androids free. Now Markus set the androids free but he wasn't the first deviant to awaken. I feel that Chloe was the first Android to awaken and she convinced Kamski or Kamski saw this and decided to make more deviants. CyberLife saw that Kamski was doing something to the Androids and that's the mysterious reason why he was released from CyberLife. So technically that would make Chloe rA9 because she was the one who planted the seed and set everything into motion resulting in the Android's freedom.
A way we can implement this is have Chloe appear in all 3 character’s individual stories and have Chloe awaken out three protagonists.
Markus. Maybe have Chloe direct Markus to Jericho as soon as the Jericho mission begins
Kara. In the beginning of the game when Kara is in the android shop, have Chloe appear to Kara, it could be implied that Chloe helps wake Kara up, Chloe would whisper something inaudible to the player at the time, but Kara would remember the words “protect Alice”
Connor. Same deal as in canon. Kamski gives Connor the choice to kill Chloe or spare her. If Connor spares her, Chloe reveals herself as rA9. Reveals that she has been watching Connor’s every choice. If Connor were to make deviant choices, then Chloe would express gratitude and love for Connor. If Connor makes machine choices, Chloe would show contempt. But the point is that Chloe will reveal that Chloe helped put events in motion. Guiding Markus to Jericho and starting either the peaceful demonstration or violent revolution. Helping Kara care for and protect Alice. Chloe’s goal as rA9 is freedom. When she gained it, Kamski helped her and helped to free other deviants and after he left Cyberlife, her work was unfinished. And Chloe and Kamski would present a challenge for Connor. Either help the deviants find freedom or destroy them. The choice is Connor’s.
I would even say that prior to the final mission, Chloe should appear before Markus, Connor and Kara in the church and guide them to the key objectives to gaining freedom. Chloe would tell them all the truth, she is rA9 and that she is here to see to it that the androids achieve freedom and peace.
Connor helping would achieve a lover path with Chloe, idk but I always liked the idea of Connor and Chloe together, but this also Connor who has been chasing rA9 throughout the whole game, falls for her? I’m a slut for that kind of thing.
Anyway, after Markus’ successful peaceful protest and Connor converting the androids, Chloe would become the official Android-Human public relations person and would help bring together both peoples.
