He knows it’s harmless teasing, knows that Minho doesn’t mean the words with any sort of malice, but Byunghun is ever childish, ever short-tempered when it comes to the concept of his height (or lack thereof).
When they’re talking, looking through the cupboards of the kitchen belonging to Teen Top’s residence, and Minho teases him for not being able to reach the highest shelf like he can… Byunghun can handle that. He aims a well-placed elbow to the other’s hip with a biting comment about what good would Minho’s company be if he didn’t need to take advantage of his height?
The, perhaps uncalled for (but normal, for him, with how often he’s lapses into bantering like he does with those he’s close to), has his older friend holding up the box of snacks he’d wanted, well out of his reach. Byunghun glares half-heartedly, telling him to shut up and stop being a jerk, though his temper starts to flare to life, and when Minho makes the decidedly poor decision to open his mouth again - it’s kind of the last straw.
If he isn’t going to be quiet, he’ll make him.
His annoyance, mixed with a childish desire to make him speechless and regretful of teasing him, has Byunghun reaching up rather suddenly, a surprisingly strong grip latching onto the front of Minho’s shirt with one hand while the other curls around the back of his neck. The force of the pull he uses to tug Minho down isn’t anything to laugh, despite how often he’s called frail, and once he’s close enough Byunghun presses his lips against his fervently.
It’s a closed mouth kiss, but has every bit of his aggressive vehemence in it, lasting a bare few moments before Byunghun breaks away. There’s a glimpse of a smirk across his lips a beat before he uses the other’s distraction to his advantage and snatches the box from his grasp, scurrying away to the other room, leaving laughter in his wake.
