Name: Icarus Wylatt ‘Falcon’ Hawke Gender: cis-male General appearance: typically he has inherited his father’s black, scruffy looking hair that is just as wild as he can be, while having his mother’s rather calm blue eyes. an interesting contrast, he’s often referred to as a little falcon, for having a sharp gaze that a few often compare to the pallas side of his family. he’s rather inherited the hawke family appearance, in some sense, apart from some smaller features like a few freckles and a small birthmark found on the back of his right hand. Personality: simply chaotic. he’s troublesome by nature, always pulling pranks on those unexpected, and rather stubborn. something inherited from both sides of the family, one would say. humourous, rather idiotic, speaks before he can think, but ready to jump to his feet the moment someone asks for help.  Special Talents: he most likely follows in his mother’s footsteps and has skills in the art of a rogue, despite how much his mother would object and stop him from using sticks as practicing daggers. apart from this, he has some skill in the fine arts and often is caught sketching things. may these be people, animals, nature, or even things he heard about and imagined. he particularly likes drawing birds, ironically. Who they like better: garrett as he let’s the boy get away with a grand scheme of things, in regards to his pranks, and even encourages him. Who they take after more: it’s a mix of both, really, though slightly shift more towards his father due to his wild nature.  Personal headcanon: his first word was neither mum or dad, as typical children go, it was actually hawke. he had heard many people refer to his father as hawke to the point that one day when he saw him, the little boy gave a big grin and proudly yelled “ hawke ! “ as if it was a greeting to his good ol’ dad. though his next word would most likely be dad, he always kept yelling out hawke whenever possible. some people found it cute, some found it horrifying when they suddenly heard this little yell. we haven’t even written the thread yet but @chmpn and my isabela’s baby is gonna be a boy and they’re most probably gonna name him Malcolm cause they both lack imagination also the baby is gonna be cute, large and chubby with cute cheekies and Garrett’s smile and Isabela’s big honey eyes

Henrik rolled the stem of the blood lotus between idle fingers, the gentle motion helped keep his focus on the reading in front of him, leaned over the book, and back straight. He had tuned out everything else and is probably why he missed the sound of Beetle’s claws on the stone, followed by Garrett’s familiar gate.

(he barely even noticed the tingle of being watched)

A soft surprised gasp leaves him as Garrett leans his weight against his back, and tucks their faces together, though surprise turns to affectionate glee as Garrett presses a kiss over the bridge of his nose. “What a nice surprise--” Henrik muses, greeting the Champion with a bright smile before raising a hand to brush his thumb against the wrinkles at the edge of Hawke’s eyes.

With a hum, Henrik gives the other’s arms a few gentle taps to be released, from the other end of the work table to retrieve a small floral swag wrapped with a length of bright red ribbon. “It’s uh... crystal grace.” Henrik hums quietly, tucking it into one of Garrett’s inner coat pockets. He didn’t have a reason really, but the flowers smelled nice and were pretty.

The elf left his hiding spot after having lurked around the corner to catch the fight. With shaking limbs, Daniel walked up to the bloodied man on the ground, the tips of his ears pointing downwards as his brows rose up. “I-Is he dead?” He asked the bearded man just to be sure, yet the pool of blood seeping out of the corpse was already telling enough.

Everything had happened so fast, his whole body was still in shock. Whatever he did, whatever his master ordered him to do, something always seemed to be wrong; first he was scolded, then whipped bloody, and then everything went into chaos as an outraged voice rose up -- another human.

The dirtied elf covered in blood and dust was catching his shaking breath, acknowledging the man that saved him. It may have been a sad truth, but after all this time of being publicly humiliated over and over again without anyone seeming to care, it felt like a miracle that someone had finally stepped in, let alone killing his master for his gruesome acts.

“Thank you, Sir. I... I didn’t think anyone would come to my aid; I don’t know how I could make it up to you.”
